Fertilizers affect the quality and size of the crop

Every plant has its own specific needs, but almost all metabolic activity in plants requires three basic elements; nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). These substances are needed in different amounts at different stages of the plant's life and are used in different parts of the plant.

Therefore, most manufacturers offer one fertilizer for the growth phase and another for the flowering phase. Anything else your plant may need can be added to the base fertilizer as needed (for example, rooting or flowering stimulators).
